Rydge Ishii drove in the game-winning run with a double in the bottom of the sixth as the Waiakea Pirates capped their comeback and beat a team from Maui 8-7 to win the championship in the 9-10 division at the Kona PONY Baseball Memorial Day Tournament.

Ishii was 2 for 4 with three RBIs, and Devon Hirata and Cody Min also each had two hits in the Mustang final for the Pirates, who stormed back from an early 6-0 deficit.

Min settled down on the mound and pitched 5 1/3 innings. Ishii got two outs and picked up the victory.
